Warm Cup-a

I love my morning coffee; but as I have been on my health journey I often replace it with the warm morning elixr. I have tried many replacements for my morning cup-a-joe; but not much makes the cut. This elixr is warm, delicious and beautifully creamy. Plus it is a great way to give my mornings a great nutritional punch!

  • Dandy Blend: can reduce inflammation in the body; thanks to dandelion root. As well as regulate digestion; care of barley and chicory root. Dandy Blend is gluten free despite the use of barley root- they use a water extraction process to remove the gluten.

  • Raw Cacao: is a powerful antioxidant and tastes delicious. Not to mention cacao contain the blisters chemical called anandamide as well as phenethylamine ( helps to relax the nervous system)

  • 5 Mushroom Powder: which includes Chaga which boosts the immune system, Reishi which is an adaptogen to help with stress support, Cordyceps helps to balance lungs and kidneys, Turkey Tail and immunomodulator and Lion's Mane and immunune support and protector to cells.

  • Collagen Powder: Collagen is the most plentiful protein in our body. However our body naturally produce less of it as we age. A loss of collagen also affects the integrity of our bones, joints and muscles.

  • Hazel Nut Butter: a great source of fat and adds a delicious nutty flavour.

This recipe was inspired by a Uncoffee recipe from Meghan Telpner’s Undiet Cookbook. After adding a little of this and that I have come up with my own morning inspiration.
